Aiight a quick question, to make a plant NOT go into the budding/flower stage, what is the light/no light ration for 24 hours?

Also, do i need to be using fluros to do this?

Thanks in advance..

light/no light ration for 24 hrs lighting?

is 24, you leave it on 24 hrs a day.

you can use any light as long as its good for the plant, hps, clf, mh, flouros are awsome i love them for vegging.

if you want too keep the plant vegging,,24 hours of light is ok,,18 will do,,,12 on 12 off,,is the schedule you want your lights on/off,,to make them flower
and bud
Keep on Growin

flouros are fine for vegging. you want the light on between 24 and 18 hours a day. 18/6 is a popular choice.

to induce flowering, simply change the light schedule to 12/12 on/off.

anthing with 16 hours or more out of the 24 will keep most any strain from flowering...

go less than that, and it might trigger a few (i know some sativas start flowering at like 14 hours...)

What lumber said and.

Lightning most common: either 24 hours light or 18 hours light 6 hours dark are the 2 best. for vegging

you'll find people swear that an 18/6 schedule will grow a better root mass than 24/0...

i have no proof of this, but just thought i'd let you know...

ya the battle between 18/6 and 24/0 for vegging is the battle like 12/12 and 10/14 for flowering . Its all personal preference and what works for u. Either way it wills tay in veg with 18/6 or 24/0 if ur using CFL go either cause u get same results, if ur using a metal halide might as well go 18/6 so u can save some money on the electric bill
