What is the ph for hydro?

I am having ph problem and can not get a straight answer on where my ph should be. My ph will not stablize, it is constently going up. I am growing in hydroponic DWC using FloraNova nutes. I am a week into flowering. My plants have made no progress since starting flowering, they are just barely keeping alive.

I've been told 5.1-5.9 (5.2 being the best)
I've been told 5.5-6.2 (5.8 being the best)
I've been told anywhere between 5-7 and you're fine.

But my leaves are "clawing" in new growth and turning yellow, dry, and dieing in old growth.

please, help would be so appreciated!

In hydroponics you need to check your Ph twice daily. Do not add any nutrients for at least 1 to 2 weeks of the vegetating period. Your Ph level should be no lower than 6 and no higher than 6.5.

Also check your water temperature. It should be no higher than 80 degrees fahrenheit but no lower than 60 degrees fahrenheit. You should also flush your plants with fresh water every two weeks and especially a week before harvest.

imo...ph for dwc should be....5.9for veg an 5.7 for flower.....the 5.9 is closer to peak level for nitrogen uptake while staying close enough not to lock out other nutes..an the 5.7 is better for p-k while staying close enough not to lock n......peace az

I think flora says 5.5-6. did you look on the bottle?
The bottle says 5.0-6.5 lol

imo...ph for dwc should be....5.9for veg an 5.7 for flower.....the 5.9 is closer to peak level for nitrogen uptake while staying close enough not to lock out other nutes..an the 5.7 is better for p-k while staying close enough not to lock n......peace az
I found some info from Cervantes the says 5.8-6 is best. I think I am going to shot for that range. Az--> Can I ask where you got your info on uptake?

Thanks guys!

from a bunch or reliable ol tyme growers my friend.....theres nothing like the experienced gained by dealing with those who have been doing this for 10+years....especially from people who freely share their info with out requiring you to buy a book or dvd.....peace az

Thanks Az, I am going to try your advice. Hopefully my babies bounce back in the next few days.
