What is the process to donate your medicine to a dispensary?

I was told that all you have to do is walk in to the dispensary, ask to talk to a manager go to a back room. They scope it out and make sure its up to standard and after that i have no idea. Any info would be very much appreciated. thanks in advance:confused::weed::weed:bongsmilie

It's called renumeration.

The legit dispensaries and collectives will give you a W1099 to fill out; then they take a gram and test for pathogens and THC content.
You'll get anywhere from $150 to $250 an OZ. The average I get is $800 a cuppie; although I got $300 for one really bombastic ounce awhile back... lol

Again it depends on dispensary/collective/club and whether legit or not...

Oh Yeah... Also what county you are in...View attachment 945215

Thank you very much for your info. Also how long does it take for them to test it and what do they test for? Nutrients not flushed? High ph? Bacteria? I live in the bay area solano county, and trying to stay legit and Renumerate as much a possible:mrgreen::weed::weed:bongsmilie

the people I work with test on the spot!

10 minutes if they are busy. how ever long it takes to open all receptacles otherwise... lol

they test for pesticides, nutes, e.coli, molds and other bacteria and a full drug screen for things like PCP, MDMA, opiates and other chemicals and such..

My people are Organic certified so I use only OMRI nutes and pesticides!

Thank you. Good shit, thats great info on what they test for and how easy it is. Do you know what chemicals or what product they use in the test, so you can do a prescreening? Thanks again for the info i appreciate it. :weed::weed:bongsmilie

ok great thread here, I have a nice load about ready to harvest, which will put me over the limit for storage of flowers, I like them fresh anyways so selling anything left over then a zip or two of tops the rest has been going to my collective. However the collective I belong to has been coming across as " I am on my own" if I get found with too many flowering, although I always and only forward all extras to the collective at a reasonable price for them and me 175 a zip flat---- covers the nutes and bulbs and a lot of expensive stuff used to cultivate. I am in Socal and live in Orange County "behind the orange curtain" Can someone hit me with a PM if you know some decent legit dispenseries that will take my overage for a decent price for the both and not put me in harms way of twisting it into an enforcement fine?
Thanks in advance,
CC

I'm also very curious how much I have to bring in for them to buy it. If I only have a few ounces extra each harvest, will they still be willing to buy it, or do they only buy pounds at a time? Obviously this will depend on the individual dispensary, but I'm curious what the general trend is.

I've always just walked into collectives and asked if they where buying excess, if you walk in with a back pack or duffelbag they will usually know why you are there

Most of the ones I know of in Cali will deal with you if you have 1/4 kilo or more.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT THREAD. Does anyone know the laws surrounding this? Also, the laws for transporting extra flowers you want to donate?

Thanks!!

A question I have about the process is that I am conerned that someones going to jump down my throat if I don't use propper lingo; can you speak freely and use words like "buy" and "sell"? I'm also nervous that if I say "donate" that might be taken literlly (lol). Do you have to say donate?

And herein lies the true justification for caring for the sick, "when and how much do I get paid?"

I laughed my ass off earlier when I ran across the word 'donate', as I knew the poster really meant 'sell for profit'. And please don't tell me it costs you $200 per ounce to grow either.... While I am all for selling for profit, call it what it is, don't hide behind a red cross and claim you are 'donating excess' when all you are doing is selling marijuana and filling out a 1099. There is nothing going on even remotely looking like a donation.

How do they test on the spot? What kind of equipment is used and where does one get it?

I was going to use Steep Hill in Oakland or just demand that any vendors that want to sell to us have to have their medication tested before hand.

Back to last year, I thought I could make fair money from my grow.
I only grew 1 crop and got about a lb. indoors and a termendous PG&E bill.
Any way my son gave me all his trim from his out side grow so I make Budder.
It's potent and most folks can only handle 1 Brownie.
I thought I would make it for people who can't smoke.
But to be honest I'm going to keep them for myself. ;0P
