What is the standard "payment" for trimming help?

With harvest approaching, it's way more than I can do on my own, so I want to invite a few friends to help for a day. Just a casual thing where we smoke up and bbq while trimming. What is the customary amount of medicine to share with a trimmer? Is it normally provided from stock that is already dried or do you send them on their way with freshly cut/trimmed buds?

I think it depends, if its just a few plants then just smoke everyone out and have a good time , but if its a larger harvest.... you get what you give you know, no ones gonna complain about a few grams being tossed their way

my buddy who is a rather large growers pays his trimmers one ounce per pound trimmed.

I made 2 oz trimming for about a week and a half. I trim hella fast ;)

it took you a week and a half to trim 2 pounds?

i can trim a pound in about 4 hours.

i think i am doing my best to help people.

you stated trimming 2 pounds in a week is hella fast in a thread about paying trimmers. people will be led to believe that they are paying their trimmers fairly when they really won't be. a good trimmer can trim a pound in a few hours. i'd hate someone to have to pay someone 10 dollars and hour for a week to trim a pound.

i am doing my best to help stop the spreading of misinformation that may lead to discouragement from people who come here trying to learn.


i'm not really "going out of my way", am i? :?

I never said it was about me. maybe I don't even remember how long it took me to trim that much. maybe I mis-stated.

but I don't see how you're solving this for so many trimmers, I was saying I was doing this while doing my own harvest at the same time, maybe someone else can think under those conditions it may be somewhat fast do be able to do that, and maybe I did it in 4 or 5 days 2 or 3 hours at a time, I can't fuckin remember it was a year ago.

but hey that's cool I'm just trying to make it about me again right... you are really good at what you do , dude.

Depends on who you have helping. I'm not hella fast at trimming. Takes us about 8hr to trim a plant. I give my help a oz per plant. But they also smoke with me year round.
