I personally dont think 16ft is achievable indoors. I am skeptical that you would see anything over 10ft. Maybe 6-8 feet.

Lemon fizz by calyx bros might be an something to consider huge yields and promising pictures plus its probably really strong not sure if it gets that high though but u might take it to a new level with that setups I mean colas of 3 ounces does seem legit..

If you are growing a 16ft plant indoors I hope you plan to have about 8 1000 watt HID bulbs, otherwise that will be the scraggliest, shittiest plant in history.
Wouldn't need that much light. If he hangs the bulbs vertically, which he should he will get nice light spread and grow monster plants.

To answer the OP I'd go with Neville's Haze (MNS), Tom Hill's Haze or one of Ace seeds crosses. You might email the guys at Ace seeds to see what they have to say, they are pure sativa lovers with some interesting genetics from what I hear.

Yeah, side lighting will take care of that, point taken however..
Don't waste your money on hoods/reflectors. Just hang all your bulbs vertically stacking. If you have say 4, 8 or 10 bulbs, 1-2x rows of 4-5 and you will get a nice spread of light (for more than a few plants). You will have to popcorn the interiors because your plants will be bushy at that size, but you can LST/train all day long if you want to. Good luck.

Side lighting is essential, I honestly thought everyone did it and I'm shocked to see that plenty of folks aren't familer with it. Yes Medshed we use lights without reflectors (they would get in the way and stop the light from spreading). lights above and lights to the side and with the use of zap strapping and wire you can manipulate the plants to get the most from them.
This is a new system that I am putting together and it's going to be very cool..... I promise you all I will provide pics once they get to the stage that they are worth photographing.
Thx again everyone for your help, always appreciated 8-) D

And why ever not...??? I have 16ft ceilings, take off three feet for a table and two feet for the above lights and that gives
us 10 or 11ft for the plant....... Not a lot by any means, actually very easy but the strain is important... hence my post. The
question "is it possible" is silly, of course it is... if you know what you are doing.....D

Well, when we see the pics I will be less skeptical. I am skeptical only because I have never seen a 10+ indoor plant before. So you can be the one to change that.
