What is this and how do I save it?

I've had Spikey here for 8 years.
I'm sure the soil is knackered (never changed or repotted in all the years) and I repotted 1/4 with guano and it's still looking sick 3 weeks later. This time of year it's normally in top gear and pushing out the latest in green punk rock hair styles.

I have no idea what Spikey is or what Spikey's problem is, but please help me out here if you know!

Well your mums a legend then :bigjoint:
Been wondering for years and years what it was.
I now remember after googling, that it was sold to me as an Elephants foot tree. Somewhere in my mind that rings a bell.

Turns out it's over watered , from what I can tell so far. So I'll try drilling some holes in the pot and throw it under some artificial light

I had a plant exactly like this and kept it in doors and when I put it outside it just died. They are cool plants and I think they are plants that need special care like anything.

Ah my supplier...what a nice surprise! hello! :) hahaha

Yeah I put it outdoors a few weeks back and it didn't like it at all. I now have it in the bathroom, with the clothes drying , so it's warm in there and plenty of natural light too.

strange how it was fine for so many years of moving around, and now it's decided to throw a fit.
