What is this cannabis lookalike plant ?

so yah.. took this a few years ago in costa rica. Just remembered it going through old instagram shoots (hence the over filtering ) any ideas ?

I've seen replica/gag marijuana plants that had leaves like that

That picture is weird, looks like stems are growing out of the soil.

Looks kinda like Cassava or some type of Japanese Maple

Looks like a fig tree of some description.

Looks like maybe a false aralia (Japaneze aralia)...fatsia japonica. It has strains that look even more like weed...my wife. years ago, was transporting a big one in her car and got pulled over and it took some time to convince the officer he was mistaken.

Could be Cleome too

Looks like the same strain Ricky was growing on the Trailer Park Boys.
