Well guys !! thanks for the speedy response. I had no idea so I'm glad I've asked. Sounds disgusting and I think I should throw it out. Worried that it may spread indoors.

I can always go and buy a small one for €4 and start again. - Sorry, thinking out loud there.

Is rubbing alcohol the same thing I use to clean the bud scissors with
? Alcohol de limpieza, cleaning alcohol in our words !!

I'm gonna charge the camera battery and take more pictures when I go there later.

I didn't even know we get mealy bugs in Spain, we have enough other critters as it is.

Now I feel sick . Yuk !!
an alcohol pad...just rub down the leaves. they will jump off and then back on so you may have to do it a couple times...don't throw it away. it teaches you nothing about entomology (bugs) and dealing with them rather than throwing away the plants. save the aloe.

I haven't chucked it !!! Was just worried about unnecessary risk.

So far, I've sprayed it with Neem oil, as a jet and also a mist. The jet spray is good for reaching in the crevices where a cotton ball wouldn't fit. I think the reason it didn't manifest was because I routinely sprayed it.

Do you think I should sacrifice the smaller ones and re-pot it? Or just re-pot it?
