What is wrong with my babies??

First time grower.
Been growing outside in 5 gallon buckets. These plants are almost 6 weeks old from seeds.
About a week ago I noticed some brown spots on some of the lower leaves, they have since started spreading upwards. The plants get the spots then it takes over the leaf and moves up the plant.
What do you think it is/what should the treatment be?

Thanks in advance!

potassium my friend! and lots of it...for future reference, do some research on mobile, and immobile nutrients...will cut the problem solving game in half when all you have to do is look at the plant and say " is it the top, bottom, or middle of the plant effected." GL!!

mcpurp...you are the one with no experience...obviously. that is a bad case of lacking potash...damn how many times do i have to tell you to research something before you actually do it, and shut your mouth? so...while you sit there bitch about me on someones help thread, just dont...it isnt about you, its about the op...not your personal beef with me because i tell you how it is...and end up being right everytime, thank you. and max is right about what to do...just feed her some potash.

aahhhhh...i get it now purp. i believe someone started a thread about people that chill in the toke and talk area, and get rep all day, and then get on a problem solving thread, and everyone believes they know what they are talking about because there rep bar is off the page...you my friend fit the bill...80% of your threads are about songs, and tomatoes and watermelons lol another toke and talk genius for ya.

First friend i guarantee you purple has more experience growing then you will ever have so please don't judge another persons growing levels my a simple minded judgment because you disagree with them.

Second; why do you say "do some research on mobile, and immobile nutrients.." apparently the deficiency isint travel upwards so its not a mobile nutrient. So why be a smart ass and reference something completely not relevant to the topic?

How about you actually look at the pictures...genius... and not take a newbs word asking for help. And please show me in which pics it shows traveling upwards. So before you open you mouth kiddo actually look into the thread detail not just open your dam mouth sounds like a jack ass.

opinions? i don't have any opinion but i have seen plants purple grew and have not seen jack shit by your self. So to the eye of the beholder i will take his side on behalf of cultivating marijuana... And if you want to see my evidence of knowledge on growing please ask and i will show you with ease.
You are the one being bias here friend so don't accuse me of picking side ;)

i am not arguing with you sutra...thats not why i posted here...i posted because i know what is wrong, and im sure, considering it is his plants that he knows if it is moving upwards or not...and i can also see it in the pic...and kiddo? you are funny.

I'm glad i amuse you. Must be why you take cultivating as a joke. Anyways we both agree it a deficiency.. What kind of deficiency would you say it is?

Jeez... why are you still on his ass? i dont know him irl or anything of the sort but i have seen his threads as well as his grows. And i have not seen your but if you insist i will look into it...
I dunno as the stem do not look brittle or browning due to sclerosis im gonna have to argue that it is not a potash deficiency... but a iron deficiency. Which can mimic a potash deficiency.
There is signs of sclerosis on the fan leafs but not on the stems it self. And potash is a mobile element so shouldn't the stem be discolored as well? From my knowledge i would say yes.

Gob is correct, magnesium deficiency. But there is really no connection between mobile and immobile elements and the area of the plant issues appear. And i agree, Mcpurp like most here ia a Cannabis Forum Guru. Other than figuring out a way to stumble through a grow in their own enviroment they really have no real world knowledge of the propagation of plants...........
