What is wrong with these??? +rep 4 advice

These are some sprouts I had under lights they were going soo well until one day I came home and they looked like this.. Im pretty certain the soil is has too much nutrients in it.. ie. nutrient burnnn!

No its organic potting mix with 5 in 1 plant food fertiliser pellets
with perlite...

Do you think this is what did it? when the roots reached all the fert, might have been overkill?

never heard of fertilizer pellets so i cant help you there. but im sure that wouldnt help it ;(

They are like manure pellets, small and brown

u know what i mean?

im sure i know what they are. but i have no experience with them. nor have i heard of anyone using them on here.

ditch that and transplant into ffof

yeh im willing to put money on the manure pellets.it might not be that it was to highly concentrated it but be that u were just overwatering therefore releasing them to quickly b4 the plants can use them up.use a sandy seedling soil that has no nutrients/fertilizer in it at all, then when your plants are 2-3 weeks put them in that organic soil u got

yea bro, even if you would of only put a peice of that shit in with your plants that would of happen, that stuff just does not work well with pot plants , jjust like miracle grow it just dont mix

yeh I have noticed it on some of my bigger plants too, which happened when I trans-potted them into that soil mix

Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil will work wonders for you. It's organic yet has some light nutes in it...but I have NEVER gotten burn from using it. It's great soil and you will notice the differences almost immediately.

I live in australia, I have never heard of/seen it in shops around where I live and Im not going to order any over the net...

i do believe its nute burn. you should never use nutes with sprouts unless there heavily diluted.
if at first you don't succeed grow and grow again lol

yeah im from oz also , goto bunnings and buy DEBCO Seedling soil

whats so good about this soil?
am I too add perlite, then how big do they have to be to put into organic soil? do you have any other advice about products at bunnings?
