What is your average veg time?

I assume you are talking about indoor growing right? I grow in organic soil and try to veg at least 8 weeks from seed; takes longer if I top them a few times to get more colas. Clones only need about 3 weeks or so depending upon if and how you train them out. My grow is perpetual so I use the power of three:
1) A grow tent with a mini T8 for seedlings, clones & small plants
2) A slightly larger tent for vegging plants with a 400w mh
3) A 10'x8' dedicated bloom room with a 600w MH & 2 small leds for side lighting / targeting lower nugs

Plants can easily get upwards of 3-4 feet tall but it's better to keep them shorter with as many tops as you can get on them. Wider plants always yield better than tall plants but at the cost of more veg/training time. Most of the bottoms won't produce much so it doesn't make sense to veg for too long. If you keep on topping the tallest colas while they are vegging eventually your plant will become super bushy with a lot of tops. When your plant is about 2/3 as large as you want it to be in full bloom that's when you wanna flip them. Training is what takes all the time but also pays off in better yields down the road.

I take cuts at around 6 inches tall, clonex dip, into a cup of just wet promix with a drain.
I put a clear cup over it until it stands up, should root in a week, as seen down the sides of the cup inside.
. After two weeks in a cup I transplant into a one gallon gro bag of ppro mix with a handful of organicare grow pellets.
they grow to about 18 inches tall in another 2-3 weeks. If I need the strain in future flower its copied and into five gallon pails of the same but flower formula.

they get 5=6 feet tall, under 1000 watt hid lights

in veg I use one 485 watt t5 fixture 24 hours on for clones and vegging plants.
i yield between 3-6 ounces per plant with an average finish of 65 days in flower.

I veg for 6 weeks from seed under T5s. the strain I grow stretches a lot in flowering so I top once and move to flowering when they get 12 inches tall they reach 36-40 inches in 10 weeks of flowering so I am limited by the height of my flowering closet

I'm 20 to 30 days from cutting/seed to flower and my plants can be anywhere between 24 and 72" when done, strain dependant. This I done in a flood and drain recirc. If I wait longer I risk growing into the lights but I tend not to train much either.

My first time doing a proper indoor grow in a long long time. I'll add mine just for the sake of it as a reference but have not finished vegging as yet.

Seed, soil, 600W MH, Scrog (12 inches above pot is the net). Looks like veg time will be 2 and 1/2 months (should be flipping in a week) for 4 plants in a 4x4 tent.

Veg 2 months, light 6000 watts of cob, medium usually supersoil ,mammoth p and great white in seven gallon dirt pots. I generally grow from seeds but I keep a few mommas in my nursery of strains I really like.
Is the Mammoth P worth it while growing in Supersoil?

COBs, promix, 2 gallon fabric pots.

From seed the last grow was vegged for 28 days. Timer started the day cracked seeds were put to the pots.

Finished height of a sativa phenotype White window is 51" tall. Indica phenotype, was 45". Estimated 2.5 ounces on the shorter plant. The bigger one will have closer to 3 ounces. Weight estimates are after dried and cure.

Depends on what you want. Plant count etc. I used to run 4 plants or less because it was a misdemeanor. I run a few more now because of some new laws passed.

Its still illegal but without sales it is just a ticket now.

Anyways, if limited on plant count the veg time would be longer. I would run 2 ants in a 2x4 in 8 gallon pots and veg for about 2.5 to 3 months and scrog them.

Now I run more and added a 2x2 veg cab. It takes 4 weeks or more for a plant to become sexually mature and flower. I give them about 3-4 weeks under 18/6 then move them to the flower cab and a few I run 12/12 from seed in the flower cab.

What are your goals and plans? Setup? Separate veg and flower area or both in one area?

All of that will help determine what you are asking.

I was more asking in terms of just collecting other's strategies and opinions based on their setup and goals.

My current run vegged for about 8 weeks with multiple toppings, still not even 2ft tall but very bushy. Putting them into flowering now. I took some clones and I'm waiting for those to show roots before I place them in my second tent. They will go for another 6-10 weeks while I waiting for the current batch to finish.

Duration? Seeds or clones? Light and medium used? How tall do they get?
always 30 days sometimes a month even 4 weeks

but rare for me to go over 1 month

unless its on a breeding program

where one last year vegged for 4 months?

just to prove to a breeder his sales bullshit

was 'right off' the mark

good luck
