be honest. your gram per watt. and what lights you are using . hps and mh or just hps or led or cfl so on . and what you feed them. this will help a lot of us out , I hope I can learn some thing new. ok my set up for flower I use hps hortilux 600 watt hps and then switch to mh after the buds stop getting fat. with co2 ppm 2000 to 2200 . using home made nutrients I pull on average .85 grams per watt. topping and super cropping. that 6 plants 3 gallon pots average 3 zips per plant. bamboo stick holding up branches and trimming fan leafs off. I veg them 2.5 foot tall in the 3 gallon pots and trim off the bottom branches no pop corn buds.:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf: if you don't know how to figure grams per watt you add the total (dry) grams divide the grams into the number of watt bulb and that's the gram per watt. these are my honest numbers. :bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

I got 1.01 gpw last grow. Soil, ffof, 600s....the cheaper ones. AN sensi base nutes, calmag, bcuzz bud hardener at the end. Added biotone myco at transplants. Grow em big in 7gal smart pots and i mean big. Then screen em down and undercut the screen. I atrubute alot of the gpw to the strain though. It was one of those super high yielders. What im growing now is only at .87 gpw but they also werent nearly as big as i wanted them before they hit flower.image.jpgHeres some of the .87 harvest. Nowhere near the size i like.

Super soil ~ SCROG.
Average right at .83 GPW, but that's with a multiple strain grow which drops the average due to pheno weirdness.
The plus is our requirements are pretty low & we enjoy changing it up.

Ran four 5gal hempy "bucquets" in a 4x4....2 were a strain Ihave been growing a minute....other 2 were some seedbank testers I scrapped for the bad yield.

Got 4oz plants off the old faithful strain....like 24? Grams will just call it 230....other strains yeilded like one zip for one 2 zips for the other.

Had a ph problem too so I am confident this run Ican do better than 4oz with that strain.

Based on the data Ihave Ican expect at least 460 per light this run.

Indagro proPAR400, no pontoons ...so 1.15 gpw is what Ihonestly expect and already did on a 1/2 scale this run.

Maxsea nutes, molasses and some epsom salt.

this should be moved to the Noobie forum ...is just so dumb ...and denigrates the reason for RIU. site in the first place ...lol (mark as looser move on!)
O come now. There's a ton more useless crap posted here. Your just not feeling it, that's fine, but making negative comments only says your in a bad mood. Smoke a bowl and cheer up! :)

All things being equal, yield is LARGELY strain dependent. Often times, and I mean almost ALL THE TIME, the best yielding strains just aren't that good.

i ran about 4 strains under 1200 watts in roots soil ans sparingly using maxsea nutes, got about .7 GPW last run.

12 plants total, the 6 in the back did over 500 grams (all one strain). the 6 in the front did a little over 300 grams. silly party poopers.

if i had run just that one strain, i could have been near .85 GPW.

i've had runs as low as .5 GPW under different setups in the past, and probably as high as 1 GPW.
