ideal situation = 50 watts/ft2 so... assuming 150/50= 3ft2 but... thats alittle weird unless your grow area is not square.... so i'd say 4ft2 = 2 x 2 FT area height can be whatever you want.... as for ventalation... they say minimum should be once every 5 mins.... but with a mini sun in your box... usually you want to exchange air atleast 1-3 times a minute..... so assuming you go with 4ft2 and lets just say 4 ft high... so thats
4x4 = 16ft2 x 3 = 48... but assuming you will add ducting and a carbon filter you may want a little more powerfull fan ....because longer /more turns in ducting = less cfm and carbon filter resistance also reduce's cfm ... so mabe 80-100 cfms ? in that general area...

i am not an expert in anything mentioned i am just quoteing little bits of information ive heard around the forum please feel free to double check anything i said

so firstly, i guess i sould be asking what should the optimal space be for a 150wat light? I'm looking or a way to setup a cab, then make a cheap carbon filter with a fan

answered above... 50/ft =optimal... less is fine... lumen calculation... 2k-10k per sq ft... if u wanna do it that way... carbon filters are just 2 walls with carbon in between
