What light proof material can I use to make walls?

I am basically dividing my room up for flowering and vegging. I wanted to know if there is a cheap material I can get at a real life store that I can use to make a wall and separate the rooms?
I know walmart had light blocking stuff that people use with curtains but it was something like $20 for 4x8 piece and with that we would need like 4-5 of them which seems kinda expensive for what I need it for.

Everytime I cheap out and try to do something half-assed it ends up costing me like three times more in the end. Why not look at a grow tent?

Mud is cheap (like free) and blocks out light really well!

Then just paint the inside of your new mud walls white to reflect light, back towards the plants. :o

You can buy this mylar insulation stuff from lowes that blocks all light. It is not too expensive and works well. LINK. Home depot sells the exact same product too, if that store is closer. Oh and check the tape section. Both stores also have aluminum tape for ducts or whatever. This works well for seams.

Plywood and lots of caulk and you can split 2x4 for the frame.Do you want a room thats there to stay or something you can tear down if need be.If you build a room out of some flimzy shit. You have to take your door into consideration!Paint flat white!

Black and white poly with a simple wood frame stapled to the frame. note: apply duct tape to areas that u plan to staple to the frame, this will improve odds against rips.

cheap materials, light weight, simply construction/deconstruction, re useable, light proof, using the white side for interor provides reflection of light... my thoughts....

That's what I did, and I'm happy with the results. It was a little less than $7 a sheet where i live, which wasn't too bad. I used that foam insulation that comes in a can, to seal up the seams, so that's another option.

Yea, you should get some drywall/sheetrock/plywood and cover it with poly plastic. I have one that's held up by a wood box and a cabinet, but you could make a support from 2x4s if you're handy and don't want a half-assed solution like mine...

What's your budget and your carpentry skill's? Panda film is good stuff, light-proof and a couple mill's thick. If not that you can get black painter's plastic at Lowe's or Home depot, the thicker stuff is fairly light proof. You could use 2"x2" fir strips for a square frame, with gussets in the corner's for strength. That of course would only be good for hanging plastic. 2"x4" would be better for a true wall if you need to hang stuff. I bet you could build a cheapo dividing wall for less than $75 bucks.
