WHAT LIGHT SHOULD I USE IN A 1x1x3 box

The trick is not fitting them in the box. You could put 16 small plants in there if you wanted. The question is can you get them to produce anything at this growth density that makes the effort worthwhile. I look forward to pickies of the colas in flower.

In the first picture those plastic containers are 16x22, each one had 12 cups and I got over 3oz per tray......I had about 12 cfls over each......since y'all were talking about small spaces and small plants..........I GOT BOTH...lol.peace

Nice bonsai/popsicle grow man...

if you put them in bigger planters, do they grow bigger?

IE: are they being stunted by keeping them in the cups? Or is that the variety?

Mine if I keep them in cups they popsicle out... if I put them in 5 gals they get BIG!

Very impressive in solo cups.

i venture to say u could double your yield by filling those tubberwares up with soil and just planting the SOG directly in it.

You'd be right.....IF i had femenized seeds....BUT they're just mexi-brick regs..........AND...lol.....it'd be a waste of soil if I didn't double my yield.

"waste of soil" seems like an exaggeration to me, soil is almost free compared to energy. If you are spending the money to run the lights u can afford a couple sq/ft of soil!

I for one am quite impressed by B166's first set of picks. We all know that if you have a lot of room you can grow big plants with lots of bud (assuming that you are not a bad grower) but these show that a guy (or guyess) with very little space indeed can still produce a useful crop of short plants. I still doubt that you could grow eight in a PC case but I guess you could do three of these.

Thanks man,that was my point to show that IT IS worthwhile to grow in small spaces.I'll admit 1x1x3 is small,maybe too small:),but my first thought was I could easily fit 9 femenized or clones in solo cups in that space and harvest over 2oz...maybe 3;)peace

I transplanted these babys at 3-4 weeks veg from SOIL. These plants are literally supported in the net cup by a wound up ball of roots

So I kind of tricked the plants into overproducing roots for their grow medium and age
