What's up riu, Im still pretty new to growing and am still trying to grow as many different varieties as possible, but I was just wondering what makes a Kush plant a kush plant ? What Makes an og an og ? And a haze a haze plant. Like what are some of the characteristics of the different breeds of cannabis

Yes I understand genetics, but I haven't grown enough strains to like know the traits of a Kush plant. I know most hazes are usually long and stretchy like a sativa. Know the parents make up the genetics but I was just wondering water some more specific traits where

The Eastern Hindu Kush range, also known as the High Hindu Kush range, is mostly located in northern Pakistan and the Nuristan and Badakhshan provinces of Afghanistan. The Chitral District of Pakistan is home to Tirich Mir, Noshaq, and Istoro Nal, the highest peaks in the Hindu Kush.:hump:

OG arguably originated from California meaning Ocean Grown area marijuana. its also used in slang as Original Gangster or Old Gitbongsmilie

you can figure out where Granny's Panty's sprouted right ?:P

I totally get your question, I often wondered myself in my early days. In all honesty, I am still learning a bunch. The only thing that will make you know what is what is experience. I have grown so many strains over the years (thanks to single seed marijuana canada) that I have learned to recognize what hazes are, the diesels, the strawberries, the blueberries... The only way to figure out for a new grower is to grow a lot of said varieties and make connections. I have grown super lemon haze, super silver haze (from various breeders), dragon fruit, etc and then you start to pick up on that sumac lemon smell that makes a haze a haze. It is a life long journey, and I am still learning.

One thing I know for sure is no one has the best strain, it does not exist. Nowadays, you are likely to find an OG with the high of a haze and a haze with the high of an OG, it doesnt matter anymore, find what you like, grow it, make seeds, grow it again, mix it with other things you like. END.
