george has a video on how to get one gram per watt of hid , that would be a great yeild.

I love your avitar, it's so distracting.....in a good way!
I dont think one gram per watt is so hard to obtain.
So long as you don't mess up. lol
I believe you'll need to use additional co2 though.
Peace

video, what is another good way to supp co2 other than dry ice, its way too expensive where i live, i paid 20usd for 10 poundsof ice,

Hydro will increase your yield. Which one? Seems like aeroponics is the hot topic these days. I would try, but I like the no-nonsense, organic feel of natural soil. More plant protection built-in. And there's more parts to go wrong with aeroponic...or so I hear.

It all depends on how much money you have to spend if its outside or inside, how big you can grow or how many you can grow.Indoors aero setup correctly will yeild high amounts in a really quick time. Now on the other hand 3 outside plants allowed to grow 8 feet may give multi pounds per plant. I have done dirt, flood and drain, out door guerilla and most recently aero. I am now an aero man for life.Times are cut in half plant growth and health are amazing and all yields I have seen from aero no matter the room given are great.Aero is simple and easy with some simple research can also be very cheap if you do your homework and can handle a dril and some caulk.Alot of variables but for inside Id say aero beats all for total yield.

Im a first timer with an aeroponic set, it basically grows it self after a couple of days. All I do is check my ph level and top off my water as needed and I can say the results are pretty good

Combining aeroponics with low stress training and/or a screen of green, CO2 injection, air-cooled hoods is a start, then all that's left is controlling the all the hundreds or thousands of variables in the grow room exactingly and that's where it gets hard ;)

CO2 generators (these are normally natural gas powered and range in price from $250-500 depending on output and quality)

Tank CO2 injection systems (pretty pricey but very effective)

Homemade CO2-mix 3/4 cup of sugar, 6 cups of cold water and 1 teaspoon of yeast

there's no way that last 2 weeks. 2 days or 3, tops. i use a 2 liter coke bottle (3/4 full), 1 cup of sugar and a teaspoon of yeast for 48 hours of CO2.

Yeah I use a white milk jug. 1tsp yeast+3cups sugar+ 5cups water //can take a while for it to really start working. 24-48. works right away but produces more once reaction in full swing.
I cut a hole in the cap and placed a flexi straw (short side in hole) in it.
I point the straw down to the base of the plants and the co2 rises.
It does seem to raise temp though in a confined space.

You cannot beat the great outdoors, unless you have a greenhouse... a big greenhouse.

Else, there's aero. Difficult to manage as the spray nozzles have a tendency to get blocked up. Which is fine so long as you keep on top of things... if you don't you can lose an entire crop within hours.

Next in line, I believe, is NFT... although with the accelerated growth rate (i have heard of growth in the range of 7 inches in a day, not unusual to get 5") often when your plants encounter problems it can be too late for you to do much about it.

Next, would be DWC... easy to maintain and excellent growth rates in veg' of 1-2" a day. It could be more, as this is my own experience... I'm fairly new to it but I can tell you cannabis loves it.

Then, imo you have hydro... followed (some would say very closely) by soil.

I started in soil, then hydro and now dwc. In fact I have my last soil plant still in flower (an ex mother), likewise my last hydro grow is also in flower. now that I've grown dwc I feel that I've found the medium I'm most comfortable with.
