What Method??

Hello
i have an 80cm high grow box,
i just finished a lowryder grow and would be interested in upgrading to a hps.
I have 2 plants vegging at the moment, a gigabud and a skunk #1
2 questions;
1-what method would be more efficient in my small space, scrog or lst???
2-how far away should i put a 150w hps from the plants???
my lighting at the moment is a 125w envirolite and for flowering with the hps I would add about 100w in cfls.
Im open to any suggestions.

Sounds like you'll have major heat issues unless you get some really bad ass ventilation. 250W HPS + 225W CLF + 80 cm high grow box = not good. As for the question about SCRoG/LST - I would combine both. Keep LST-ing your plants and put a screen on there to keep the plants even lower.

What he said about the heat, man. Also, you'll need maybe more than just scrog / lst with those genetics in that space. You may as well count on a supercrop, too. And.. take LST one step further. Think bonsai. Maybe get that stem tight to the lip.

well it wont be 225w. I would get rid of the big 125w cfl for flowering and just have the 150w hps (not 250) and possibly some 20w cfls for side lighting.

Ah, sorry, I misread that. It would still be a big heat issue in a space that small unless you get some really good ventilation.

would an envirolite be good for flowering a SCrog plant then, Maybe 200w???
Or would 2 pc fans, an intake and out-take extake (whatever yo call it te one going out) be good for a 150w?
Would a 70w be a better option???
