Hi All,

This is mo,she (i hope & pray) has been vegging for about 4 weeks,I have the patience and the space to let her vegg longer but was wondering wether or not to clone now or wait a while longer. Any thoughts appreciated, also how do you think she looks,ok or not? she has had no nutes yet and am wondering wether to start them now also, obviously on quarter strength to begin with, my nutes are 15-3-3. The seed is Ak47 i think and the grow medium is canna coco.Pics taken just before a misting,so looks a little dry but is still quite moist an inch down.Lights are 2x 125watt 6400k envirolites.

Many thanks Guys & girls

there is nothing to take a cutting from yet. you can wait a while longer, top it, then use that. else just wait till you flower to take a cutting.

I just took some Haze toppings from plants the same age/size and made clones of them...we'll see if they root OK...

UserFriendly...have you done this before? I want to create some Mother plants but not there yet...

I took branch cuttings of mine at this stage. Just clip or pop the bottom branches off, dip it in cloning gel and stick it some medium. I used an organic peat plug, keep moist, not wet. I had 4 plants, took 2 branch cuttings from them. I Topped them just before flowering too and came out with 16 plants in all. All but 1 clone took. The rest nicely rooted in about 2 weeks.
Try it. It is all about trial and error.

I agree with userfriendly.
Top it and use the top as a clone or just wait until flowering.

The little side growth I seen at the bottom is to small to clone I believe.

good advice. The plant needs to get a bit larger to really get any worthy side cuts off it. From the looks of it she should take off soon and branch out. Give it time bro...

The only critique I have..take it er leave it...is that I think you'd be seeing more growth if you had mixed about 30-40% perlite in with your coco when you transplanted. coco holds alot of water...and often that isn't all that obvious until you heft that container and go "damn..sure is HEAVY". If the roots don't have to go out and find the water they just won't spread out as quickly and growth will slow. Make sure you let it dry out well before you water again and see if that helps give it a growth spurt. Fill another pot with dry medium to compare the weights if you can/need to to judge how wet it is.

lookin goood tho...patience is the key.....
