Check your contract, or you can find some info on google with the company name.

You will find the price/watt.

Try to start after 10pm when people start going sleep.

I was told the rates went down after 7pm. Went by that bs for years.... Got in touch with my electric company (Edison) - was told there is no rate change due to time of day.

Running at night makes it easier to cool down the room but if you work (or are awake during the day) it's kind of a bitch to see your grow for a few minutes each day before the lights go off. You don't get the "quality" time with the plants that they need and desire. I used to do the night growing thing but now I do days but only grow in cool weather when possible.

Other than being able to work in the garden during regular hours...night time is way better and cheaper to flower. Almost all of the savings are going to come from easier and/or cheaper cooling at night because of lower ambients and thus lower equilibrium state, no matter what style cooling you do. Then the rest from a few cents cheaper rates during "off peak" hours.
