what should i do with these big fan leaves?

i was wondering what to do with these huge fan leaves, they are bigger than my hand and blocking a lot of light, should i cut them off to allow more light to the rest or leave them?

you want to cut off the big leaves to get light to exactly where?? more leaves?? that makes no sense at all imo.. do you have a clue how plants work?
the bigger leaves are like solar panels that hang out in the light and convert light energy into food and sugar via photosynthesis.. these are the power houses of the plant..
sure, go ahead and remove them so that the light can get to, what was it again, the container, that's right, that's what makes all of the sugars and food for plants to live and thrive, what was i thinking..

They dont block light, they absorb it. Fan leaves are an important part of your plant, otherwise they wouldn't be there. You can remove a few, but don't completely strip your plant.

light passes throught the leaves ne way, there are varying opinions on this subject some say cut some say dont, but roughly 75-85 % of light passes through the leaves, so in my opinion, removing them would take away a great deal light absortion for your plant and add 15% more light for your lower growth, it doesnt balance itself out, i say leave them on there but its ultimately ur choice

Im not sure I had the same issue with these Huge Colas, their blocking the popcorn buds @ the bottom of my plant and I am going back and forth on whether I should cut them off.

when u harvest, harvest the main colas and leave the popcorn buds giving more time to ripen, theres alot of ppl who harvest this way

Light will get to the plant where it needs to be. I would not cut the fan leaves off. I've read about plants and how as they grow the top leaves become sun leaves and the bottom leaves become shade leaves. Either way. You want as many leaves as possible. I've noticed my plants don't like to drink as much or take up the nutes as well the further they are into flowering. They instead suck the nutrients out of the leaves to force out the big buds. So you want as many leaves for it to suck dry as possible.

Im doing a regular potting soil grow using 20/20/20 soluble miracle grow in my water, and not cutting any leaves at all unless they died already... I just want to see if my plant will yield alot of bud just doing it as simple as I can without bloom substances or hot soil or cutting leaves or any of that stuff... Trying to do it as natural as I can except the help of spring water and miracle grow through its whole stage of its life...

Cut them off. I defoliate regularly in veg and flower. In veg, I'll cut off any big fan leaf that has already grown a shoot from the node. After that shoot has established itself and has it's own couple set of leaves, the giant "sucker" leaf can be chopped off. In flower, I pretty much cut off any big fan leaf that might block light or restrict airflow. I've seen the results of defoliating vs. not defoliating with my own eyes and will always say cut.

dude DONT fuckin cut them off. The fan leaves are your plant's solar panels. The buds don't need the light the FAN LEAVES do. Those are you big time light collectors and allow your plant to photosynthesise all of the lumes that they absorb. You want them trust me. Like I said, imagine those big ass leaves as big ass expensive solar panels. They are your main light collectors and if you cut them off, you plant will only suffer. If you disagree then you are FUCKING WRONG! Good day. :)

I'm doing even worse than that. I put some random bag seeds into the soil that I already used last grow, and I haven't really been feeding them nutrients either. They are still alive and growing well. Producing bud and all. You don't have to fertilize, it just helps make them better and stronger as long as you don't over do it.
