Hey yall, just checked my humidity for lights off and saw that it was sitting at 76% rh :cuss:It stays around 55-60% with lights on. Trying to keep the vpd in the right zone.

My flowering room is 6'wx16'L and I have a very full canopy right now. Was wondering what size Dehumidifier I should get and if it is completely necessary?

I keep my carbon scrubber and fans running 24/7, but did have a bout with mold a few months back after over watering and a long rain spell.

Yes you need to control humidity, borrow the money if you have to but get one. I have a 50 pint dehumidifier which drains from the back, I run it outside the room and the only maintenance I ever do is a little bit of bleach in the storage tank every few months. It has lasted 7 years now I think

If you run an AC that will help keep the temp and humidity down.
Oh yea, @Doomhammer69 I run a/c. and it acts as a dehuy most of the time. Pulls out a lot of moister. I think I need to clean the back of it to be totally honest, so it will dehumidify more. Under normal conditions the window unit has worked great for pulling moister. It only runs into problems when the rainy seasons start and we get week+ long spells of drizzle.

I went all around yesterday looking for a proper dehumidifier, and finally found one on clearance. It was the only one in the store, but when I took it home and plugged it in it didn't work. Kinda frustrating. I think I'm going with this one from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Frigidaire-FAD504DWD-Energy-50-pint-Dehumidifier/dp/B00AU7GYXA/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1474637766&sr=1-1&keywords=dehumidifier

I've got about 6 days till the axe.

I chopped the Purple Storm from the picture above, the other 5 are coming down tomorrow. Should have some pics up before too long. I got that Frigidaire dehuy too and that thing works awesome.

How far are you from taking down that Citrus?
