What size fan and carbon filter should I get for a 4'x8'x7' tall, grow tent.

A 4 or 6 inch inline fan filter combo off ebay or amazon should do it.

Are you running it thru a Air Cooled Hood? :leaf:

Be careful..i don't know personal.because i bought brand shit..but I've read that odour control has alot to do with how the carbon is packed into the filter..i read that alt of the cheaper filters aren't really well made and therefore do not clean the air as well...just my thought.
I have a five by five by eight room..i bought a six inch max fan 300cfm three speeds...a six inch flange. ..And a thirty pound can fan filter...best thing i ever spent three hundred bucks on..besides my kids...i have eight plants...scuse me seven girls and i used to live in fear that people would smell me when i left the house...it was awful..now its awesome i can grow whatever strains i want and the whole house doesn't reak

Probably 400-500 cfm.

And regarding the cheap filters, you will be buying a new one in about 6 months or so....
Then buy a really good filter, like a Phresh Filter ($140).

I run mine thru an Air Cooled Sun and hang the filter inside the grow box with the exhaust going out the top.

Get a speed controller. You will find the filters work better with LESS flow.

Works for me and it's odor free :joint::peace:
