ok so i have a family emergency and will need to leave my plants un-attended for like 3 or 4 days.. what can i do to make sure they will survive? Im using soil and have been watering once a day and using tiger bloom every other feeding (now in my second week of flowering)... so do i just overwater them right before i leave or what. any good ideas... oh and i dont have anyone that i can trust with them. everything is on a timer as well so should run fine without me.

any help would be appreciated

3 or 4 days is nothing, I water mine about every 2-3 days and I have left them after a big watering for a week or so and thye survived. 3-4 days is even less.

Just give them a big watering and enough space to grow and you shoudl be fine

You shouldn't need to water a soil grow every day. About every three days, when the soil gets dry (not bone dry, but dry), is when you want to water. Every day is a lot, and even if it's just a little bit every day, marijuana likes the soaking/drying cycle of the soil. I would suggest let them dry until you have to leave (as long as it's not too far from now you know), then soak the bitches right before you take off. My fox farm plants were in like 4 gallon buckets and could handle almost a gallon if I really needed to drench them before I leave somewhere.

guess ive been overwatering then.. they look healthy though.. oh and ive been using FIM and LST to keep my sativa from going totally wild, it is huge compared to my three skunk #1's. i mean the node spacing is three times more on the sativa.

thanks for your help
