What to do with throwaway crop

Been busy/inattentive, my mistake. Got full out bananas growing on my plants, and a shit ton of impregnated flowers. I am 35 days or so from flip to 12/12. I ripped the banana's off (dozens), but most of the lower 65% buds all look seeded, and only the top top colas look decent.

I think I am going to scrap the whole fucking thing, chop, freeze and run the fresh frozen in bubble bags. I don't want to spend time effort and money trying to salvage shitty seeded buds for another month and a half and then dry and cure only to be left with junk degraded seeded shit.

Is this an okay plan, freeze buds and good trim, and run the bubble bags? My whole crop is busted, this is a salvage operation.

I have a hypothesis that seeded bud has potential to be better since the plant produces resin to protect the seeds. And my blueberry is pretty nice right now.
Edit:
The real question is why do you have plants flowering before the flip to 12/12? Autoflowers? Wait, nanners and buds on the same plant?
If you have a hermaphridting(sp) autoflower, scrap that shit.
Do you know your genetics?

I was not clear in my wording. They have been under 12/12 for 35 days. I don't know the genetics, it was questionable bag seed. I have learned my lesson there. They were budding nicely, and either they just hermied, or they didn't like the pH issue I was having and BAM bananas.

I am prone to freaking out and acting out, mentally, so I am trying to chill out and take your posts to mind. So maybe I should continue with the crop, and just be vigilant for any more gosh darned bananas from making things worse? Thanks for the insight buds.

Ah ok, I read that wrong, if you don't have anything waiting on the space (like if it's a flowering closet) I'd let it finish. Sure it'll be seeded, and probably won't be as potent as it could be, but if it's a first grow it's pretty great to smoke your own pot. Also you can get some experience with drying and curing, I know I've molded a couple jars of good pot learning.
Don't forget to sanitize that space after the grow to kill any pollen. I spray 91% rubbing alcohol all over the place and flash burn it to kill the pollen. Jk I do spray the alcohol and wipe it down though, thought about lighting it a few times though...

panic is never your friend. if you have nothing to replace said plants with then rolling with it is going to be your best bet.

i too have had seeded bud that was very nice smoke ( once you remove the seeds obviously)

Yeah, this is a first indoor season. I think I will keep er going. It's good practice, if nothing else. Experience at least, now I am really good at finding nanners and seeded calyx's. Thank you for steering me away from the panic decision, sirs.

I just finished my first big indoor and it seeded too.

I had some issues with power failures throughout the grow, no biggie I guess. I already planted a few of the seeds and they're popping up soon.

The bud is still fire, and there weren't as many seeds as I thought when I was picking through them. The bottom halves of the plants are for edibles or whatever, top half should last me most of the way till next harvest.

Just because its seeded doesn't mean its ruined, just less yield and less bag appeal. No change in potency.

Don't have experience with that. My bro has the bubble buckets. I was just reading hyroot's ice wax and french cannolis. How do you do wax?
Honestly if you don't already make it i would peon just do bubble bags if you can borrow them. You would have to spend some cash to get the stuff to do it right at least a couple hundred so i don't know if it would be worth it to you. Much moot dangerous to if you don't know what your doing. As for where to find a good guied idk i took pieces from many diff guieds and videos and learned through experience. I'm sure you can find something good on this site though

Water instantly deactivates pollen, use a spraying device with a fine misting attachment.

I'd finish her the best I could and use her to make dry sift, or as someone else mentioned, making edibles. More than likely, your bag seeds were from a hermie as well. These can work as feminized seeds but can still herm out if given any stress or sometimes even without stress. I've used hermie seeds on a grow once before because I had no clones and I knew they'd be female. Did not grow them long though almost straight from seedling to flower.

One thing is clear....I need to learn the lingo. The highlighted phrases are hard for me to decipher.

Good topic though...I am actually wondering if the weed Supervisor is going to come up with wouldn't be right up my alley......not too strong, mellow, maybe like the shit I smoked back in The Day.

Total newbie question: Is it really that important, at the end of the day, to have all female plants?

PS: Have patience with me, folks....I am just now working up to my first grow. We all gotta learn.

Banana = male flower
flip to 12/12 = change lights from a veg (usually 16+ hours on) to flower (12 on 12 off)
chop, freeze and run the fresh frozen in bubble bags = process to make bubble hash

Yes, it is very important to not only have no male plants, but also to have no male pollen (hermaphrodites) if your goal is to produce good bud for smoking.

Always watch if you grow bagseed, most of them do herm because of the genetics. Probably nothing you did.

With that said, I've harvested plants pretty early (because of nanners, always bagseed) and dried and cured the bud anyways and it was still some nice stuff anyway. I've also smoked bud I intentionally seeded and I thought I was just as good. Choice is yours my friend.

Thanks, nomo....that makes that post (and a few others) make a bit of sense to me.
