What to do?...

So I have decided to grow a few plants inside for about 2-3 weeks, maybe longer, and then move them outside. I want to keep them in a 5 gallon bucket. I'm thinking of getting a drill and drilling a few holes in the bucket and then transplanting the plant into the bucket and find a spot to leave it.

Will this work out or would I need to accually plant it in the soil?

yea of course it would as long as you have a good draining soil, and only put one plant per bucket good luck!
