What water do you use to germinate ?????

I use distilled for germinating if for no other reason that variable is locked-in. My tap sucks at normally ph 8. Plus a jug of distilled lasts me 6 months to a year for $2.

Ohhh wow, here in Michigan well water is crazy hard. And anyone on the outskirts of a city have wells. I've a few tests done on my water over the years and it's loaded with iron, calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc. I have never had to use calmag....but the dry amendments I use have that already.
Very very cool you have such soft water, consider yourself lucky
Its why our whisky is the best imo its the water we pretty lucky that way that is true

I did an experiment with seeds over 10 years old and I got 2/2 with an H202 mixture and 2/2 with filtered tap, if that helps any. Only lost 1 of 5 in h202.
