what were some of the original strains or the old strains people started it out wif

like before all this new shit thats out out now n days wat are the strains that been here the longest or should i say what are the strains people were smoking back in the daty

there's alot of early genetics around, you just have to look. most of them are landrace sativas (or unhybridized) like Thai, colombian punta rojo which i'm told is the same as panama red, and colombian gold, acupolco gold, durbans and other african strains. but also landrace indica like pure afghan, paki kush, etc. many of the early hybrids are still around too, most of which i'd recommend getting from Mr. Nice, as the breeder for them (shantibaba) created alot of early strains (white widow, northern lights, g13/hashplant, so on and so forth). 1 of the earliest hybrids created was skunk #1, although old-school skunk#1 is quite different from the skunk #1 you see nowadays, i'm sure there's a seed bank that carries is somewhere (again mr. nice has skunk#1, renamed "shit" which is most likely as close as it gets to old-school skunk, aside from West Coast Skunk which no one seems to carry, you'd probably have to know some old heads on the west coast to get that). hope this helps, and best of luck to u
