what would be easier to try 1st?

I am going to try my 1st 2 plant scrog grow. I been looking into new ways to grow. I have always been a soil guy. So I have been looking into growing coco coir. I also have been looking into a waterfarm system. I was just looking for opinions on what would be easier for a 1st timer that is trying something besides soil.

I went from soil, to coco and dwc. I did sufficient research prior to each, and as such, they were both a walk in the park. I'll say coco though, from soil to coco, the learning curve is almost non existent. Just a different pH and more frequent watering. I settled with dwc for its less frequent watering, meant I only had to check my plants once a week instead of every day.

ok thank you for the reply. It does seem coco would the easier of the 2 to try 1st.
