what would be the best hydro system for me?

Hi there. I have about 3 years growing experience with soil, so I'm fairly familiar with the ins and outs. Now i'm wanting to switch to hydroponics. What would be a good system for 40 plants? I heard DWC is fairly easy but I'm not sure how easy it is to drain out the reservoir for 40 plants on each bucket.

If you setup DWC I would run undercurrent with a few resevoirs and a few plants per res... as opposed to 40 buckets; that is not practicle. To drain the water just use your water pump and a hose.

I've grown in soil, then I switched to ebb and flow tables, and have been on them for the last 4+ years now. I like my tables alot. The only other system I would consider for hydro is https://www.rollitup.org/hydroponics-aeroponics/116859-harvest-pound-every-three-weeks.html . That is a very effective system to run a perpetual grow, and get great results. Its also fairly easy, and inexpensive to DYI. I opted for my flood table because at the time I was limited on space, and lighting. I've got more space now, but once your invested into a system its tough to change things up when you are counting on harvests every few weeks. If I had the space though and was building fresh I think I'd set up a stink bud style system.
