What would be the best watt hps for this cab?

My cab is about 4 feet tall, 3 feet wide about about 2 1/2 feet deep, lookin to do 2 good sized plants in here with lst and scrog net.

Question as im a CFL grower but want to get in to mh/hps for this grow, what would be the best size for this area?

no. i would be the max for it though. well i would squeeze a 100w reptile MVB in but other than the 400 and maybe a 100 more would be the max as far as being able to vent sufficiently.

Im thinking about a 250w inside of a cool tube with a duct attached to once side bringing air in and a duct on the other side taking it away. The question is, can it handle 2-3 plants just fine? I feel like 400w will be hard to keep cooled in this thing.

400w in a coole tube will stay perfect tempss. now if you where using an adustawing or some type of non air cooled hood then maybe i would have suggested the 250w.

cool tube fan(200 cfm 4" fan you wil need a 6-4" reducer) some ducting from fan to filter(can 9000) outside cab. :) 2-3 plants just fine maybe a hole with some mesh over it for a passive intake.

Well with only 3ft long - unless you don't plan to move the light - its going to be very difficult to have ducting set up. They are very close to 3 ft long and on top 6" in diameter. If you just have it set up so that the light is at the top you might be able to get away with setting it straight into the wall/sides. That will help a lot to cool with no ducting too.
