If our judge rules against us...what will it mean to you personally and how will it affect your life ?
Comments ?
And my apologies in advance to those Conroy forgot to help. Feel free to comment as well as those folks know already how this has changed things for them.

since we already lost both of our gardens, my wife and i hope to get it back. if we did, we could afford things again...like going out to a movie. we get to stay at home unless its a free thing, because ALL our spare $$ goes to our "friend"
to not have that expense again would be a small slice of heaven...

As we all know it is completely absurd for the government to deny our rights to grow a plant to help our health. If you want to be a free and autonomous human being then grow your own medicine and don't mind the government. If their armed thugs show up at your door then its time for another court case. Don't accept the bullshit the corporations are handing to patients. This is all about capital making as much money as possible on anything in our society. Also realize that not all LPs are giant corporate bastards. There are small locally owned operations which actually employ people who believe in cannabis as medicine like Broken Coast or WMMC. And surprise surprise they grow great weed! If you are on the Black Market, Dispensary or LP the same truth will resonate:

Those who are in it because they love cannabis and think it will help people will produce high quality amazing cannabis. Those in it just for money will produce whatever sells.

I agree with most of your thoughts. But will NOT support LP's in any way until I'm assured my rights to grow meds are protected. Until the Judge comments that's is simply not the case yet.
Good to have you here and welcome to our group.

I would have never guessed...haha

Rights are only protected if you protect them yourself. If you submit yourself to the government's control then you are not asserting your god given rights. We have a "right" to privacy in Canada but that has been slowly taken away even thought it is a supposed "right". But the fact of the matter is not enough people actually stand up and demand privacy so the right slips away. Cannabis people wont back down so easy. Just assert your right to grow by continuing to grow regardless of what the government says is right. No sane judge or jury will convict anyone who is reasonably producing for themselves medicinally. I know people who had no ATP, just a valid medical condition and they argued in court and was let off the hook for their 300+ plant grow.

As for LPs they are just taking advantage of a new market. You need to look at it a bit more closely, some LPs are the epitomy of corporate globalization trying to break into the cannabis market, like Tilray or Tweed. Any LP who is lobbying to have personal grows restricted, well i hope a comet hits your facility when no employees are there. Lowest of the low scumbags who want to have a monopoly on medicine (big pharma anyone?). There are other LPs who are smaller and actually believe in cannabis and not just money. Lps are not some group of evil corporations trying to take away your right to grow. There are good ones and bad ones just everything else. If you want to make an effective boycott, stop trying to boycott the MMPR in general and target the companies and executives who are publicly trying to remove personal grows. You could create a twitter shit storm to bring these companies down big time if done right. But just ranting that all LPs are bad will go no where.

Well that's what I want, for folks to stop buying from ALL LP's. Not a select few who pass some sort of compassion test. The Gov feel LP's are the answer to me growing. So " yes " they are the evil entity. That's quite clear and the ranting is perfectly appropriate in the form I've chosen.
If you think The Hippies Boycott message hasn't been heard, I beg to differ. Actually some feel it's become somewhat famous and noticed. I can't be everywhere...here is good for just one dude. Kind of like a billboard at the side of the highway...you see it every time you go by. You were aware of it.
Weather or not folks listen will never be known. I'd bet a lot of people have heard this Boycott thing and joined in. At least it's good food for thought...huh ?
This is not a fan boy club for LP's....just the opposite really.

LP's all took what they thought would be a guarantee with what they were told by a failing government.... the great part about bad business is, most fail!

I just grow....what I want/need...allowed 34 outdoors, 128 indoors...this year will be 20 outdoors...none indoors...some ask why less than allowed...I respond...I'm gettin' better at the game...grow 'em loud and proud folks!!!!

mojo the non-comformist
same here mojo..after experimenting the first couple of years ..I currently just grow outdoor(partially covered)....which is usually enough for the whole year....
and I am always under my plant count by a few....mostly because it was too much work to look after a full crop.
If they rule against us....I would have been forced back onto a full time pain med prescriptions schedule ...which would suck...since I can now control my pain with only a small portion of pain meds.
I would have renewed my prescription(if not for the MMPR) and would have switched it to growing only outdoors from the combo of outdoor and indoor, which would have doubled my outdoor plant count.
My wife retired now so I no longer have to consider her job in my situation...so I might continue to grow and fight it in court....since every court case over this topic will cost the gov...big time....as well as us little guys....

if things don't go the correct way...it might be a logistical move by all 40 thousand plus patients
to plant one seed....and let it sprout...then call and turn yourself in.....
everyone fights it....just a thought

They do grow great weed, but I think if they were genuinely concerned for patients they wouldn't charge 8,9,10,11,12,13,14$/g.

Don't get me wrong, I use Broken Coast. Top quality meds for sure. But they're slightly steep.

Whistler mmj is ridiculously expensive. Like up to 13/14$/g.

How is someone supposed to live with prices like that?

Pricing and having to wait for my meds are really my only complaints.

Aside from no grow rights.

I haven't had much of an issue with quality but I also paid close attention to things like who irradiates? I made sure that whoever I chose had consistently positive reviews, who had the types of strains I'm looking for? How big is their facility?
MedReleaf has the largest facility out of the three I've been signed with and their meds definitely had a factory feel to them, even though I found their meds to still be effective and clean.

Most people consider none of this and just sign with whoever their doctor recommended. I went to my doctor with forms every time to ensure that I was signed with who I wanted.
