What would you do?

Currently, I have 2, 42 watt CFL bulbs, and I want to buy one more 85 watt CFL bulb. Would you get 6500k or 5000k? I plan on using this bulb in both flowering, and vegging for my grows. I figure i can use more light, and i hear 6500k is really superb for flowering.

But I also want this bulb to help in the vegging stage, because next grow im probably going to have 2-3 smaller plants than the one i have now.

The plant i have now was in veg for about 2.5 months. Started flowering around 5 days ago about.

High Kelvins, (6500) for VEGGING and Low Kelvins, (2700) for Flowering.
almost all the single bulbs at Lows and Home Depot and
Walmart are 2700. The bulbs are creamy colored to the eye, when not lit.
There is a 4100 and a 5100 that is sort of mid-range. I would guess your 42 watt bulbs are low kelvins, 2700, for Flowering. So for more bulbs, get HIGH kelvins to help wtih VEGGING. You use both at all times, and if you are going to not use both equally, then use what is required most for the stage you are in.

6500's are for vegging.

Right there. Personally, I run CFL's in the beginning, 6500k's, then switch it to the hps. Just couldn't inmagine runnnin my daylight's through veg, hence the heart attack, unless I had shit loads of both 65k and lower, to use.
