What's causing this?

These pictures are all from the same plant. I know the brown edges are nutrient burn (Advanced nutrients sensi grow), but the deformity on one of the pictures has me wondering whats causing it? Anybody have an Idea of what it is? Also, the top growth has black spots on it as you can tell, whats up with that too? Cant find anything on the web or jorge cervantes book about these issues. Oh, and all her leaves are wilting, too.

Check out growweedeasy, they have a page about leaf deformities. I remember seeing something like the first pic there on that site. As for the second pic, my plant has reddening in odd places too, I think its just up to genetics. I dont see any black spots? maybe im just blind af lol

That mutanty twist looks like it may just have been caused by the nutrient burn patch early on in the leaf's life, restricting its later unfurling and growth.
But I have also seen twists like that without any burn as an obvious apparent trigger - it could also be unrelated and natural.
It's never seemed to have much effect on my plants, never more than a leaf or two on a single plant that does that.

Doesn't nute burn start on the tips and work its way down the leaf? Im new to this so thats just the knowledge i have. I have one of my leaves that is not that seriously twisted, but it seems to be the same kind of twist. it doesnt seem to be related to nutes or anything like that

If the tops wilting, the roots ain't happy. Could be several things. Over watering is an easy way to cause that issue.

had that issue a couple weeks ago as I'm on my first grow, but its long past LOL, i learned my lesson. Its just the one leaf that looks like that

@Thegermling i think jypsy has a point, in the first pic the leaves look kinda wilty

Is that PH Perfect Advanced Nutrients? If it is did you adjust the ph in any way? You don't even need a ph meter when using ph perfect! When you check the ph you should be reading 5.7-5.8 ph that's great in my sunshine mix 4 2 parts with growstone 1 part! If you raise the ph you'll BURN IT and you can't go by Advanced's Nutrient feeding chart it tell you to use 16 ml for grow from day one but you have to go by the ppms their chart is useless

Thanks for the replys guys. I ALWAYS PH, even if it says "PH perfect" (its a good habit, in hydro) because im growing this plant (as well as 4 others) in CANNA COCO perlite mixes, 30/70, Which is basically HYDRO. The other 4 plants dont have burning on the leaf tips except one other, and they arent wilting, or showing deformities. It cant be overwatering because I heard coco is insanley hard to overwater. I try to do the weight of the pot method for my next watering, or should I just water everyday? It recently started to get into temps of low 40s at night, that could be it too, right?

I have that same question. Just transplanted from soil to coco and I'm wondering about how often to water? It's been 3 days and she finally looks dry, is that not enough? I've heard about doing lighter waters everyday too instead of heavy ones every couple of days. Any advice on that?

After you water lift your pot, lift the pot the next day. If its still heavy, wait another day. If by the next you can lift the pot by how "light" it weighs, then now is the time to water. After you water try lifting the pot up to tell the difference.

Ok this is another one of my plants, and I think the cold temps locked out P and N. I have given it the proper amount NPK, but now the leaves are completley purple. Im just going to try to keep it alive some how for 4 weeks. This is bag seed, and she is picky as hell. My neighbors have some tall sativas that have none of the problems this plant has in the cold weather.

Mine looks purple like that with some yellow but not quite as much. I’m wondering if it’s genetics? I also have abt 4 weeks left
