i lived our in the Far East for a while and spent years travelling back and forth there, my god the Durian has to be some sort of conspiracy fruit invented by Asians...smells like puke for sure, and even worse when it's off.
I've seen this shit on food shows , no one likes it apart from asian people !
It smells like off toe jam i'm told .
It would be like sucking on a players toe after a game , no thank you very much ...
i hear it tastes better than it smells, the same could be said for many things...........
True , it does taste better than it smells .
But i like the sme3ll so no biggy !!!
I tried one and had to spit it out and drink neat apple squash, then i tried another, and another, and another, and another :) does indeed taste like poop!

Nothing fancy. Proscuitto and sage wrapped fillet mingon, paprika seasoned potato wedges, and sauteed parsnips. The dipping sauce is an applewood smoked bacon mustard/mayo.

I thought that looked like sage in the pics. The pie looks like it didnt have a wash on top? When i make blueberry pie i punch out the top crust with pastry tips. All over in different sizes. The round tip cuts look like blueberries on the top bubbled over. Id eat it :):):)

I might do a criss cross pattern next time - I was in a rush this time. Didn't let my dough harden in the fridge long enough, so I was rushing when Iwas rolling it out.... lol
