What's For Dinner Tonight?

A member posted up a recipe for morrocan short ribs recently . The last two winters short ribs have been a monthly thing in our house (ny strip in the summer, short ribs in the winter) so I had to give this recipe a try. Onions, carrots, mixed olives, dried apricots, and diced tomatoes make up the sauce. Quite a few spices as well. The dried apricots give the sauce more of a chutney like consistency. It was a winner.I'll be saving this recipe. Not the prettiest plating but the flavor is there

Picked up some killer looking vietnamese noodles from the store, never had them. Made a bit of a mash up. Steak, onion, garlic, portobello, fresno pepper and green onions.

Just finished dinner and realized I'm a giant pussy. Didnt even put the whole pepper in there and that fucker lit me up.

Looking good @FresnoFarmer , we're doing spaghetti later this week
I love spicy, but it hits me different at certain times. One time good the next time, same dish lights me up lol.

Damn, your rabbit eats well :p jk, looks good. What are the greens on the left? Do you grow them yourself? I'd like to try growing something similiar in the outdoor boxes I have.

Yeah, that looks really good. A lot of different flavors and textures in there. You put some work into that, nice job.
I wont be showing that to my wife lol. She could easily go vegetarian.

Add Nuoc Mam (fish sauce) and some lime juice and you're golden, good looking dish, nice work.

Thank you. That sounds really good, it did taste like something was missing. When would you add it?
During cooking it takes out some of the raw fish flavor. I'd add (brands I use):
1 tbl fish sauce (Squid or shrimp brand are my favorites)
1 tbl oyster sauce (Oyster Sauce Maekrua Brand)
1 tbl soy sauce (Healthy Boy Mushroom Soy Sauce)
You can find them all on Amazon. I also add sweet salted radish when I make those size noodles.
