If I found a strain that I liked - which is very seldom nowadays - I'd pay top $$$, but I wouldn't pay more because it has a strain name attached.

Chad are you looking for cannaseur bud like Kali Mist or Jack Herer? The bud that takes the longest to grow would be the one I'd pay most for, because 14-16 weeks for bud is a long time.
Are you looking for bud to sell? Sell to who? What are the demographics of your potential client base? Jack The Ripper, Jillybean, Blue Moonshine, AK47 or Endless Sky. Super potent, 6-9 weeks flower, decent to excellent yield, flavor. Jillybean when you want phenominal effects and flavor but don't want all the mind splitting potency of the others.

Chad If I were growing for people who asked for what your clients want I'd go to Subcool's menu and pick two or three strains - get different flavors and types of effects. Strains bred for medical patients, very potent. Consistent and pronounced fruit taste. 8-9 weeks flower.
If I were growing for those type of clients I'd go:
Jack The Ripper: Extreme lemon taste and smell with haze spice; High type: devastating high very potent. Intense, trippy, visual, phase shifting, increased heart rate, heavy crash increased appetite, pain relief, paranoia; I've read reviews from Britain where people called it the best 8 week sativa ever.
Jillybean: Tastes so much like Dreamcicles you will not believe it! Flavors range from Orange, Tang, Candy, Mango, and Apple. High type-Happy, mood enhancing, humorous, energetic. Very good mood elevator and general euphoria are experienced while high on this cross.
Querkel: High type- Indica head and grape taste make it total all day headstash. Smells: Grapes, fruit, berries, musty. One of my favorite things to smoke out of a clean bong the flavor is just amazing and IMO better than Mom. One of the only purple strains that will rip your head off... Top Bag appeal.

I have never smoked it but am planning on buying the seeds sometime. It is a ten pack of seeds so I am hoping that one of them will have the reddish orange leaves. Here is what the website says:
