Whats Happening to my baby?

My plants been getting burnt like really off colored and most of the leaves are starting to shrivil up



can anyone help me?

They look like you're watering them with straight bleach! You are watering them right? What's your pH at?

there in a hydroponic system, the ph is under 6.5 my ph test goes to only that, but i assume its around 6 cuz it was lighter then what it said 6.5 would be but not by much, the light is 28 inches away from the top of the hydroponic system and 23 inches away from the plant it is a 400w hortilux mh, i did however a week ago put in a tiny bit of miricle grow hopeing it would help the plant, and it did for a few days, and now it looks like shit, so i changed the water and didnt put any nutes in at all untill i can figure out what to do

any help would be nice because i just really want to get growing down

yo back few years ago when i started i made a big mistake of only using a ph test liquid that only went to 6.5 i assume u r using one met for aqariums...wel long story short i had the same problems and i went out ansd got a ph testing liquid met for hydro and my ph was below 4 so those testing liquids that only go to 6.5 for the most part i are not as accurate as ones made for hydro....i would say you have nute lock up you want to flush with strait ph balanced water and if by chance they come back start with an extremly light nute solution and go to your local hydro store or online and buy testing liquid specific for hydro it cost like 5 dollars

or even better by a digital ph meter if you look online you can find good deals

yea man i had the exact same symptoms as you it really sucked seeing my babies go down but i got shit down and you will to it just takes time and patience

If you every have the thought " hmmm i will add this, this MIGHT help, but i dont know." chances are it will hurt more than help. Plus MG sucks for plants, especially MJ.

well what nutes should i get i dont want to over nute them so i guess a basic all around nute is what im lookin for?

and i defintly also suggest staying away from mirical grow ......shop around and find a good line of nutes i am using the botanicare line and it works great but if you are low on cash try some thing like DNF "dutch nutrient formula" thats wats i used when i first started and i had great results and i feel like it was alot easier to use then say botanicare so i suggest it for beggining growers and also remebr LESS nutrients is better then MORE you can alwasy add more in the res if your plants need it but taking out is a whole differnt story

go to your local hydro story or if u like shopping online go to htgsuplly.com they have a whole bunch of different lines so you can choose the best nutes for you and i can tell you that htg is very reliable they have always shipped my stuff only problem is they only have ground shipping so if your in urgent need of something you may want to find a place that can overnight it

yea man sounds good dont get frustrated if you have to start over you have to start over but each go around you gain more and more knowledge and soon shit will be going your way

Too soon for nutes, of any kind or concentration. Go to a hydro store and get the right test kit. They're like $12. I bet you'll find it's a lot lower than you think it is. You'd be amazed at what plants can bounce back from too!

i put mircalcid? in my plant earlier trying to boost its growth as well prolly round the same stage yours is and it got nute burn pretty bad it didnt look like yours though...it could be serious serious nute burn how much of it did you use?
