Can anyone tell me this? I seen their products results and yes they are great but for the price to get the whole sha bang? Why so damn expensive? Hell even fox farm ain't that expensive and they get about the same results and also what would you guys recommend? Iv wanted to change up my nutrients cuz I'm starting a whole different grow and wanna try something new and everyone keeps telling me to go for advanced nutrients. Would jacks classic work? Iv heard good stuff but neve checked the prices(prices aren't really a problem but why pay more when you can get the same results for less?)

Yeah, that's what I thought at first too. So, I hear the concerns.

Personally, I don't use a ton of the AN products. There are a lot of them, and I've seen great results with the Expert Grower bundle, which is only 9 products (well, Sensi is in there twice).

Yes, you have to pay more, but the results are worth it, aren't they? Maybe it's just me, but that makes sense for what I want to do with my grow.

In the end, you have to make choices that make sense for you. I'm not familiar with those other nutrients, otherwise I'd compare them.

That's more than likely what I'm gonna use seeing results with jacks classic. I seen some good sticky nugs grown with jacks and I'm very egar to start my next grow and try it. I won't be growing for a while but when I get a decent camera I'll post a journal or something. Iv wanted to do one since I joined but 3 grows later and I still haven't posted any cuz I use Mobil and don't know how to upload and my camera is like a 1.5mega pixel which sucks ass so I need a better camera first.

I can say I use AN's iguana juice and the MEST (mother earth super tea) and their organic B1. I use a fraction of what they say to use though. It is pricey but a 1 L bottle of each has lasted me two years. I use this line up in conjunction with guano and compost teas, fish emulsions and hygrozyme with outstanding results. Bear in mind I only add the AN products at a rate

Don't confuse him with facts. LOL, he's still spending the green and learning. If he's smart, he'll get to the Jack's sooner or later.

OP None of there are really shit nutes, quite good actually. Just obscenely overpriced and complicated, with one fuck of an advertising scheme going on.

Directed at new growers that have never grown anything at all and want to grow "DANK" the first time out.

Not going to happen, like the first time you tried to ride a bike with no training wheels, but they want you to think it's possible if only you use their products.

I've been using Jack's for 40 years or so and they have been around longer than that, way before AN or FF. They deal with real deal commercial nursery/growers in the industry and not someone who has yet to pop their first seed.

Thus they don't have the neato labels/names for their products, or slick ad copy. Just honest products at a honest price.

YMMV, so spend your money however you feel.

I hear one of the greatest thing about AN is you can never have enough bottles and you always have to go to the hydrostore to reload, that really is greatest thing about this line. Unfortunately I cannot afford it and the way I grow now is next to free ... except for the power bill of course...

I changed my position on Advanced Nutrients, once I had several harvests under my belt. Waste of money. Period.

I still like a few of their products, but I will agree most of them are grossly overpriced. I still use big-bud (powder) and overdrive as additives. I substitute budCandy with "Cutting Edge Solutions sugaree" and carboload with molasses.. I get all my humic, fulvic, bacteria, and mycrorhyzal from other sources that are much cheaper. And any base nutrients are pretty much the same, you can find it way cheaper than advanced..
PS. this is not an ad, I do not work for or get paid by advanced for saying this. I am just saying what works for me

AN? No thanks. Way overpriced. Start with a light Sub Supersoil mix, some coco and perlite. General Organics Cal-MG, Botanicare Liquid Karma, otherwise organic homemade teas with Kelp and the appropriate guano tea depending on veg or flower if you feel the need to supplement.
