I think ebb and flow is the best for this as far as price, effectiveness, and ease of use.
That or an NFT gutter setup, but that's almost the same thing.

spot on! room size and budget? i love flood/drain too but when i wanted to do SOG i did a dwc tray filled with plants much easier for that specific technique, since you will be harvesting and putting clones in flower often, i felt flood/drain with so many small plants harvested so ofen, was too much growrock cleaning. if room gets bigger, more money for pumps and climate control is needed, i don't think i would do DWC in a huge room though, how many watts you planning to run? growing for personal?

I've have tremendous success with aeroponic and drip-systems. DWC was too slow IMO, but to each there own.

i'm working out of a 4x4 tent 4x4 table 40gal rez 1000w light 2 six inch fans one on the light the other on the filther. i have 7 moms and i take about 80 cuts every 8 weeks plus 80 five inch pots

i would say flood n drain system over the sprayers in the vinyl fence posts. i ran ebb n flow for my first hydro run, and it was much easier than the sprayers.. a few things i found of advantage were, not as many waterings per day, easier access to roots, roots have something to grow into, and it ensures darkness to the roots in turn eliminating risk of algae growth.
The vinyl fence posts with sprayers wasnt as good, i found too many light/water leaks. and it has to spray a couple of times an hour at least. wastes water.

I agree. If the air pump fails in DWC then you risk drowning....if the water pump/timer fails in Aero the roots will dry out. With ebb and flow you have time to get to the plants before either happens.

I suppose a drip/top feed system could work as well.

i think all these systems could work well for a sog ..

i was wondering if you considered the type of strain used in a sog garden could have a dramatic effect on the overall yield from the given space in m3

i have seen so many sog grows that while they do well with maximizing floor space they waste so much vertical height by only growing plants maybe 1-2ft high (lolipop indica style)
i guess this is fine if vertical height is limited ..

since 600w and 1000w can produce good growth on 3ft maybe 4ft plants, .. maybe finding a good taller pheno that still grows in a slender column .. some of the faster maturing sativa hybrids could be better if they were able to finish quick enough, and produce a slender plant that produces bud on a central stem .. so very close planting would still be possible with the bonus of plants using more vertical space for bud :?:

Ok Hi every 1!! Thanks for the advice so far for the clones and veg i have t5 lights rated at 10,000 plus lumans together. And a areophonic system for The mothers. Im thinking when the time comes for flower i will buy 600w hps? and build sum ebb and flow systems? ok please check out my grow so far and comment. click my sig or copy this link thanks :) https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/421202-1st-grow-10-000-lumans.html

Update:i have a clone from the club that will be the mother its buba kush and trainwreck crossed. it is in the areo system for bout 1 week.
