Hey all, I'm going through PH testers like they're goin outa style. They all seem to read 7 when I test my soil (or anything else). I have heard some soil PH testers will not work in a mulch mix. I don't know but I'm tired of using test strips, please give me some ideas/recomendations, if it's a good one I can test water or soil/mulch (or anything else..lol) I'll pay the extra...thanx as always in advance.

Rapitest from Luster Leaf is 20 bucks at Walmart.. it is designed for soil only, and at most.. it'll read +/- .1

Thanx man I saw one a couple days ago but didn't grab it, already found a good water ph tester for $15 on newegg..Man I'm tired of these damn strips, they aren't too accurate themselves, but better than most meters I've found.

Strips are hella accurate compared to some of the Chinese meters, that's for sure - the one I mentioned isn't bad at all and as long as you factor the +/- .1 .. you're good. :D

Milwaukee PH55. Buy the calibration solution that goes with whatever you buy at the same time you buy your meter.
