Hey just a quick question.. Im about 90% done with my first growbox build.. The last thing I need to do is set up my ventilation and make some safe guards against any pests that wanna invade my garden:evil:

I was wondering what the best thing to line my intake/exhaust holes in my box with?? I have have (4) 4" intake/exhaust holes. I was thinking of blocking off the holes with a fine mesh of some sort. Pantyhose maybe??

Or would bug be able to get through that somehow?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The best possible one can do to keep the garden pest free, is to keep the room clean. No piles of leaves, or used buckets of soil lying around. Also, don't enter the garden when coming in from outside. Shower and/or change clothes first so that no insect gets a free ride in. To answer your question, I'd use mosquito netting.

Though it happens otherwise, one main reason people get bugs into their gardens is they simply bring them in. Can happen by accepting cuttings/plants from someone or a dispensary that is infected or simply by it being on your body/clothes. Perhaps you went to a park or walked on the grass before coming into the house then straight into the garden. Perhaps you simply visited a dispensary where they have bugs & one got on you for the ride. Just seems like being careless is the biggest reason, though I get it happens too. Peace.
