I hang mine for 4 days, brown bag for a day or two, then put them in jars. I like to give it at least 2 weeks in the jar before smoking. I have 3 liter jars that I use for long term storage and 3/4 liter jars that I use for short term - I put the buds from the 3L into the 3/4L so it doesn't dry out as much from opening the jar to grab some buds....there are occasional times when I'm pretty toasted and I forget to seal the jar back up (or you're partying pretty hard and the jar's constantly being opened). Here's some pics of my jars.

after you have cut it down.
hang in a dark dry place for 24 hours.
then get a cardboard box, and put lines/strings inside to hang the bud on, use pegs, or plant tie.
cover the box, and leave in a dark place for 4 weeks min, cheaking weekly for mould ect...
after 4 weeeks or so it sould be ready to jar, like the above post.
growing is the easy part.
leaving bud till its really ready, when drying, and not smoking too soon, is the hard part.
cos just when you think the wait is over "growing" you have to wait 4 to 6 weeks to smoke the stuff.

any suggestion on the best way to dry?
brown bag?
glass jar?

and about how long should i let it cure/dry?

What is your altitude/general climate? I live about a mile up, and I only need to hang inside a cardboard box with holes, near a draft in house. After about a week, (or until stems 'snap') i put into mason jars, well spread out. (use many jars if needed) Then, every day for 2 weeks open jar, move around nugs, blow out old air. After that 2 weeks, they are FANTASTIC!
