Whats the best way to germinate seeds

What is the best way to germinate seeds, I heard all different methods but not sure which has the greatest sucess. So if your a old sweat with this, please drop me a line

Alot of people go and put their seeds in some wet paper towel. If you read The Bible, Jorge says to just put them in water. Do which ever you want, I've done both, they both work just fine. Do that until they crack and then put the seed into the grow medium of your choice.
