whats the catch??????

I say these while searchin around why wouldnt most people do this and fabricate a reflector.......is there something im missin.....i see that it doesnt include bulbs but you could but the MH one and the HPS one with bulbs for cheaper than any single pre-assembled unit...help before i order these and find out the info later and be up shits creek!!!!!!

It doesn't come with the cabinet (box) so you would have to buy that separately. Also there is no warranty so you're really not saving that much over the price of the cheapest ballast which is basically what you're getting. If you got a list of the parts and bought them elsewhere you might be able to swing a better deal.

Because they charge $110.00 plus shipping for a ballast with no enclosure, and I get my 1000W HPS/MH switchables for $75 at most now.

You have to build the ballast yourself out of the parts they give you.
