Whats the longest youve ever had a sativa take to flower

Ive got a pretty looking lady whos really heavy sativa genetics got me going crazy. My patience is being tested with every passing week, and nothing is happening at fast rate, It is getting noticeably larger and the flowers are starting to put on some trichs finally but thats just happend in the last week and a half or so...... youre saying to yourself, " this is a common newb with no patience at all and why am I reading this?' well normally I would agree with you but I am now entering the 12th week of flowering and all the other bagseeds I started in this same room are done and dry almost done curing. So how long could she go and why is it taking so long. The funny thing is even without any nitrogen in the nute mix for the last 8 weeks she hasnt shed a single leaf, still got the one fingered suckers from the first set after seed. Someone put my mind at ease.....

I grew one outside in Aus about 6 years ago... I was in a massive pot in my backyard, it grew to over 8 foot and was still flowering into mid July, thats winter in Aus. They do take longer to flower... Hang in there it will happen.

Shes about 26 inches tall. Flowering under two 65 watt soft white cfls. The kind used for flood lights, And a 150 watt HPS, for 12 weeks now I know I might be pushing it with lights but im only flowering in a small cabinet, The top cola is huge, about 12 inches tall and too big to grip my hand around. the other plant was done in nine weeks without incident. Hopefully It will start to fill up and finish soon. had too turn the hps off for the pics but you get the idea.

14 or 15 weeks or slightly more is about as long as I have had a sativa go. 12 to 14 weeks is not uncommon and some can take 20 weeks.

A sativa is not for the impatient person or someone who is used to/expects an indica 8 or 9 weeks to mature to grow.

Be patient …. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither was Syracuse.

I'd start watching those trichomes color, don't let them go beyond white as that's when then Sativas are at their best. 14-16 weeks is not uncommon though.
Nope, a Sativa should deliver the SATIVA high at full maturity(false pregnancy).

god damn no nitrogen at all for 8 weeks thats crazy..i dont understand that i use some nitrogen all the way until flush and i yield about a hp per plant with 5 plants under a 600..and i got sativas done in 10weeks..id say dont stop using nitrogen just dont use as much as veg..adding nitrogen in flower keeps ur leafs green and healthy which is key to flower production

I didnt mean none what so ever, I just meant I stopped feeding it Nitrogen because when I repotted I had to use a premix with some time released shit but at like .08 %. I hope your right about 13 weeks not that im that worried if it takes longer, Ive already harvested a plant to early in the past and that was the biggest dissapointment of growing.

I grew some NL5 X Haze plants early on in my experience, and I thought they'd never finish. I wasn't keen enough to keep accurate notes back then, but it had to be somewhere around 80 days. Never seen quite an indoor jungle since then either. IMO, that plant belongs outdoors unless you are an incredibly patient person.
