from seed a auto will beat a photo
from a cutting its a different story
I know tec has way more experience than most I've seen on here re auto's, but not sure if I agree with this statement, only grown one auto in my life so I may be missing something. Say most auto's take 10 weeks and mine took 13. When I do a photo I veg from seed for 20-25 days then throw it under 12 for 60-80 days depending on strain but my WR grows are typically 65 and my white domina are 60ish. Again perhaps there are quicker auto's but I'm thinking that photo's are the same. For OP, i got 50g and 72gr from 2 outdoor pandora that I totally ignored.

but how much do you pull from it with a 25 day veg ?
and what makes that statement true is the lag that almost all photo's go through the first 2 weeks of life
in a side by side a auto will dominate ... from a visual stand point
yield is what that statement boils down too :D

the main reason i grow auto's is the CBD and the fact i can tend my garden when ever i want
being a insomniac its nice just be able to go to my zen spot when ever its needed
growing is just a therapeutic as smoking IMO

Yes you may be right, i was amazed really at the amount I got. But I do get comparable amounts doing a photo, again strain and pheno dependent, also I used soil for the auto, who knows how much there would have been in my trays. I'll let you know next summer how the next auto goes lol.

it is a bit strain dependent but not as much as you would think ( photo's just dont have the vigor that ruderalis crosses do )
but when you get a auto dialed in you would be amazed
you pulled like 2 zips off a neglected plant in like 100 days :D bet you could of pulled a few more zips if you were dialed in
lets say you have a 6 spot indoor grow
and you can pull 2 oz's every 3 months
then you are pulling a oz a week by the break down
with just one grow room / box / closet

Pbeno's seem to be a huge factor for my femmed seed grows with some photo's being scrawny little fucks. Are you saying that auto's have less of a difference in the pheno's? Really not an issue as I hope to find that "pin in a haystack" strain to clone this run lol.

some vary alot some dont really depends on breeder
i always get flamed for saying this but
if you run a S1 batch of the pheno you like they are pretty dam stable in appearance and quality

the record is 360 grams and it was grown by seymore buds
i think taviddude pulls a few pounds out of his scrog from like 6 plants
I follow Taviddude scrog journal and u r wright brother ... strain was think different by dutch passion seeds and he pulled a lot from it ,growing hydro style ... i think that strain is ak47 cross of some sort ... few months back i was reading about that strain on tude .
