Whats the next best thing to SCROG

Hello guys I am currently on my third SCROG grow. I have been happy with the results so far but the maintenance is more than I care for anymore. What is the next best method that will provide comparable yield to SCROG. My cabinet has about 24" of space from hydroton to the bulb, so I know that I am limited in space. If I had to I could always remove the inside top shelf and get another 8" of height. I know of a few methods like SOG, LST, but there are many that I don't know about I reckon. That is what I need you guys for, what is the best way to go about it? Here is what I am working with as far as design goes.

Well I have been reading for the past few hours and I have come to a conclusion. I know that most will think this is elementary but like I said this is only my third SCROG grow. At any rate I can shift my screen to a slight V shape, and add another plant. I already planned to add another plant, and that is why I took only two clones. Both are already rooted with 100% success. At this point I just need to rig up a small little grow box for them until this garden is done. I think I have it under control for now but whatever suggestions are still welcome.

I know that I often ask a question here and then come up with the answer myself but then I reread the question to myself it helps my mind ponder and compels me to seek out the answer while I wait for someone to chime in. Unfortunately I often come up with the answer before I get feedback, I guess I expect a faster response like OG would provide. Regardless I am always looking for feedback from other grows to help expand on my own experience.

Well it is more like to lazy. For my system I have to constantly train, cut, and tie branches and leaves. Also the screen is not attached to the grow container so I need to be very very careful when changing the res, and cleaning everything. While vegging the plant is not strong enough to hold up the screen so I need to prop it up. I literally have about 2 pounds of dried leave sitting next to my grow box that I add to every 2 or 3 days. Topping off is not an issue as it is needed in every hydro method. You will need to constantly move branches around day after day after day. Like I said it comes down to being to lazy, and I think I will just have to get over it and deal with it LOL.

Well like I said I am just being laxy. I only have one plant in there right now so vegging needed to go for a long time. On top of that I had to start from seed so I had to veg till they were mature so now I have all these shoots to look after. I am sure after thinking about that once I add two plant and flower sooner as they are clones then it will be much better. Give it a try because Scrog has the potential to yield more grams/sq ft than most any other grow method.
