What's the problem here??

I've been lurking for awhile but am not a poster... not until now.

I think my friend has an over fertilization problem, but I'll let you experts take a shot at it...

From the bottom (there are a maximum of 3 or 4 leaves that look like this, however, others seem to be turning):

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking.. My buddy has a cheap TDS meter running at .05 conversion (not convinced it's even accurate). Calibrated to 1380 (or something around there) it's showing a TDS of 1020 (RO water is 20). PH never is adjusted with PH up or down, stays in the range of 5.9 - 6.1 with a good meter and the target TDS is 950. Dropped it to 800, but it looks like he may have to flush.

If it doesn't improve it could be underfeeding too. I had a similar problem... the yellowing starts at the tips and moves inward. The edges are necrotic... and it only happens on the lower leaves and then works it's way up. I learned that because I was starving them, they were destroying the less important leaves. Watching how the problem spreads through the plant is another important tool for diagnosing your problem. Goodluck!

I see your flowering, make sure your flowering nutes have enough nitrogen. If not, consider adding some grow nutes until the stretch is over.

Thanks a lot.. I'll pass the compliment! This is my buddies first grow. It's Big Buddha Blue Cheese Fem. He germ'd 5 beans not prepared for 100% germ rate. Had to cut out 3 of the 5 (what a waste). He probably could have used 3 rather than 2 and filled the screen just a bit more but everything is working out pretty well.
