this thread made me lol a lot.

if you dont like colorado, dont plan on moving to any other med state, CO has the best of the best, i moved to cali, quality is just as iffy here, and way more expensive on the average. And everyone here is obsessed with og cuts and/or even making other strains like OG

if you want my personal opinion, its the demographics of who grows/has recs in CO compared to here, I remember before I left reading an article about how 1 in 20 ppl that lived in CO had a rec, or some crazy shit like that. You best believe thats why they put out a moratorium on licensing, cameras in the disp. etc, cause its blowing up there.

That made me LOL a lot. The rush is way over. We are over saturated and many places are and will be closing over the next year. Add to that all the bullshit the state is ramming down their throats. Look at Montana too. They are getting rid of MMJ.

The rush is way over and a lot of people lost money, a lot of that is due to the gov. being so iffy and wanting to change laws and people being weary. A lot of clubs overshot, thats what people with money getting into industries do, the good ones survive like anything else, and just because things have slowed doesn't mean there's still not high demand, if you are growing good ganja you are making money, don't feed me that bullshit, I'm not buying. Also I don't know what the fuck Montana has to do with Colorado. We might as well be looking at how they've been treating pot in Arkansas while we're at it.

Humboldt Care and Wellness Centers are having a pre-signing party for patients that sign on as primary for a one year period. They are only accepting 500. Once they hit those numbers the offer will end. What I do know at this point is that the offer will include a deeeeeep discount in price and the availibility of some exclusive strains. The pre-signing party will be in the westword and daily buds. Take a look and see if that might be something that interests you... VonDank
cool so if i sign them up I get what a deep dicounts when I go to buy my med back from them?

@engineer you took the words right out of my mouth! I totally agree with everything you stated! The kush magazine high times magazine etc shows nothing but low class wannabe models and hardly anything about the marijuana plant. If i wanted to see naked raunchy disgusting low class chicks id go to the club down the corner! I want to see beautiful crops, growing techniques and so forth. I want to see real models like different type of strains not whores! The dispensaries in pueblo, denver, springs etc have uneducated individuals working there. They have no clue to what the strain is and what its medical purpose is for. Marisol therapeutics in pueblo has the worst customer service and there medicine is garbage! I had brought my microscope to view the buds and i noticed undeveloped tri-chomes and webbing! When i confronted the owner michael stetler he immediately told me in a strong tone to look else where! This is not how a patient should be treated nor should they allow that company to give patients infested buds!! White mountain medicine in springs had a poster of so called avail strains when i went to the budtender none of the strains they said they had were actually avail. When i asked why not they simply stated they ran out. They had only 6 strains avail that were over priced and low quality!

I too prefer soil grown to hydroponic. There is only one place in town that I trust for soil grown. They do all of their own grows and it is completely organic and the quality has been consistent for the last 2 years that I have been going there. Check out Medicine Man in Glendale they are at 4966 Leetsdale and they are open 7 days a week. You can check out their current strain guide online. Seriously, you will not be disappointed.

Nice to see a thread brought back from the dead. I have had great experiences at Alpine in Cherry Creek and Kind Love in Glendale. Also stopped in to Karmaceuticals on Santa Fe and was impressed with their service and selection. No complaints except that the women in the pictures were not at the stores, kind of a letdown as I was expecting the budtenders to be either topless or dressed in sexy see thru. Just kidding, who cares about the ads in Westword, it is just weed after all, some people use it like medicine to treat a condition like pain, others choose to medicate for for their own reasons, I say let 'em go for it, none of my business. Relax and go somewhere else if you don't like a place, there are a lot to pick from.

I am specifically asking dispensary customer service people if the strains I am looking at are grown in organic soil or in a hydro setup. I can't seem to get clear answers- Three people have avoided the question by answering that they have the best growers in the state. Either they don't know or they don't want to answer for some reason. Another person told me that they only sell the best: hydro, period. That person continued on to give me a list of reasons why hydro is the best. I didn't even hint about my own opinion on the matter. Since you did- I will strongly disagree that hydro can be organic. I know there are methods for 'organic hydro' but such methods involve splitting the roots and feeding organic nutes to the non hydro side of the setup. I am not an expert in hydro by any means, but I do read a lot. If there is a way to grow 100% organic and 100% hydro please enlighten me.
This seems incredibly snob ass.

Want organic? Grow your own.

Stinkbud did major work with orgNic aero.

Pretty silly attitude. Some people have specific tastes and know what they want, and are often willing to pay more for it. For their part, there's no reason for the budtenders to not know their product. At the very least, they should be able to answer whether product's organically grown or not, especially when so few growers grow organically.
